Arctic Tides

“If you don't do it this year, you will be one year older when you do!”

- Warren Miller

Growing up we watched Warren Miller's annual ski movie each year, and this quote always stood out to us. It was advice we acted on last summer with an impromptu trip to the Lofoten Islands in Norway. David was visiting me and the family for a few weeks of Swedish summer fun when we decided to make the journey (even further) north to Lofoten. At 5 months pregnant with my second baby and a 2 year old in tow, a hiking trip was a bold move, but we went for it anyway and had no regrets.

Of course, pictures can't do this majestic place justice. Arctic Tides, with original art by Norwegian painter Isabelle Reilo Riis, is our best attempt to take you along on this incredible adventure. We hope you'll experience a breath of the fresh Arctic air. Imagine your toes in the soft white sand shores. Feel the icy turquoise waters on your skin. We hope you'll light Arctic Tides and truly transport yourself.

With Love,

xx Eva & David
